To set the THREE into firmware update mode; connect the USB-C cable to the computer. Press the knob button while the unit is OFF and connect the cable to the unit. When “USB Mode” is displayed, launch the Updater.

For Mac users with Thunderbolt ports, the unit might not appear on the Elinchrom Updater due to macOS restrictions. If this is the case, you will need an adapter from USB-C to USB-A and connect the THREE with a USB-A to USB-C cable.
